Richard Morgan, Executive Director
Prior to his involvement with the Company, Mr. Morgan was a founder and CEO of Amphion Capital Partners LLC (the predecessor company) and VennWorks LLC. Mr. Morgan was also the Managing General Partner of Amphion Partners LLC (formerly known as Wolfensohn Partners, LP) a position which he retains, although the partnership is no longer active. Before joining Wolfensohn, Mr. Morgan spent 15 years with Schroders plc, a British merchant bank, where he was a member of the board of the merchant bank and head of the Schroder Strategy Group, which he founded. Mr. Morgan, a British citizen, was raised in Kenya and educated in England. He graduated with a B. Engineering First Class Honors from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. In 1982 he completed the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School. He has been a member of the board of directors of Celgene Corporation since it was founded in 1986; Celgene is now one of the top five biotechnology companies in the world.

Robert Anthonyson, Director
Mr. Anthonyson brings over 30 years of experience as founder of technology-based start-ups, investor, and an advisor to start-up corporations.
His many achievements have included, founder of Dynamics Associates, a developer of decision support tools, founder of Avid Systems, pioneer of Internet-based payment systems for parking services, and leader of the award-winning $80M park and underground garage project that transformed Boston’s downtown financial district. He has also consulted on information technology and the funding of technology start-ups as a partner at Layne & Barton LLC, and Anthonyson and Sheehan, Inc.

Mr. Anthonyson has his B.S. in Management from MIT, an MBA from Stanford Business School, and an MS from MIT. He is a holder of a number of Patents.

Joseph Flicek, Director
Mr. Flicek is a Managing Director of Amphion Innovations US and leads intellectual property efforts for Amphion, bringing over 20 years’ of experience in start-up activities. Mr. Flicek created and established the New Ventures group of the Science & Technology Ventures Office at Columbia University in 1996. Under his leadership, Columbia participated in the formation of over twenty start-up companies based on University intellectual property in healthcare and information technologies. Mr. Flicek has served as CEO and board member in numerous start-up companies and he currently serves on the boards of FireStar Software, Inc. and DataTern, Inc. where he is also CEO, and editor of Amphion Innovations’ white paper on intellectual property. Mr. Flicek is a graduate of the University of South Dakota with a BSc. in Chemistry and Math, an MSc. in Chemistry, and an MBA. He also serves as adjunct faculty member of Columbia University’s Graduate Business School in Entrepreneurship.

Raymond P. McKenzie, Director
Mr. McKenzie is a private investor who specializes in co-investing with proven private equity value creators. Prior to this, he spent 16 years working in Investment Banking at Lazard Frères & Co. in Fixed Income & Capital Markets from 1985-1998 where he was a Vice President and previously with Morgan Stanley & Co. , Inc. from 1983-1985.

He received an A.B. degree from Dartmouth College, NH where he majored in Physics. He is a dual national of Barbados and Great Britain.

Ken Lord, CEO
Mr. Lord has founded and led the efforts of three successful software businesses. He conceived and developed the initial product strategy for ObjectSpark ™ when with ONTOS and engineered its acquisition and the creation of FireStar Software, Inc. He has thirty years of software marketing, management, and start-up experience and has been involved in the data integration sector since 1984. Prior to becoming CEO of FireStar, Ken was President and CEO at QuickBuy, an early-stage e-commerce Application Service Provider, and he was one of the three founders of Constellation Software (sold to Ardent Software, and ultimately acquired by IBM). Mr. Lord holds a B.S. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School of Management and a M.S. in Accounting from Bentley College.
