Boxborough, MA, June 12, 2006 - FireStar Software, Inc. , provider of next generation software products for automating multi-enterprise business transactions, announced today they have added Chris Sanders to their management team as Vice President, Marketing and Sales. Mr. Sanders’ brings over 25 years of experience in various senior executive roles at leading software companies, both large and small. He will lead FireStar’s efforts to brings its recently announced EdgeNode™ product to market.

Prior to joining FireStar, Chris was the SVP, Marketing Operations at firstRain, Inc. a leading developer of search-driven business intelligence software for the financial services and pharmaceutical industries. His background has also included marketing and operations roles with PLATINUM technology, MicroFocus Group, Locus, VAST Solutions, and National Semiconductor.
