Acton, MA – July 12, 2005 – FireStar Software, Inc., is pleased to announce the election of Raymond P. McKenzie to its Board of Directors. Mr. McKenzie has been instrumental in FireStar Software's financing and business development activities over the past several years.

Prior to his current role, Mr. McKenzie spent 12 years working in Fixed Income and Capital Markets at Lazard Frères & Co. in New York City and prior to that he worked for the Fixed Income group at Morgan Stanley & Co., Inc. also in New York City. He received an A.B. degree from Dartmouth College, Hanover NH.
