The FireStar EdgeNode product is a complete solution for the implementation
and deployment of Multi-Enterprise Applications. It consists of two components:
- The EdgeNode Developer Toolkit – The EdgeNode Developer Toolkit
include a variety of utilities and tools designed to simplify the Service Provider’s
job of developing, testing and maintaining a Multi-Enterprise Application.
- The EdgeNode Runtime – The EdgeNode Runtime is the distributed
platform for deploying and operating a Multi-Enterprise Application. It supports the
most sophisticated and complete set of services available for distributed end-to-end
message processing. Its standard features provide all of the needed capabilities in
transformation, security, message processing, and integration with legacy systems
without intrusion. Its ability to enable a centralized Service Provider to easily
download a configured EdgeNode and to “inject” changes and updates to a
distributed solution make the EdgeNode Runtime one of the most manageable application
distributed platforms and ideal for Information Exchanges.
