EdgeNode offers Service Providers, the entity responsible for implementing and maintaining the Information Exchange for all the connected enterprises, a wide range of features that combine to deliver a powerful platform for the creation of Information Exchanges on a more cost-effective basis than otherwise possible. • The EdgeNode offers a “small” software footprint that can be downloaded and run on low-end PC servers, often along with other processes.
• The EdgeNode will run on a variety of system platforms (e.g., UNIX, Linux, Windows) and supports most commonly used methods of transport between enterprises (e.g., TCP/IP, JMS, Websphere MQ, FTP, etc.)
• The EdgeNode can be configured with the metadata, maps, and local processing required for an application, and then easily deployed, updated, and administered by the Service Provider from their remote location.
