EdgeNode is a software product uniquely targeted to create, operate, and
enhance a network of multiple, diverse organizations exchanging information
(an “Information Exchange”). EdgeNode is a lightweight, easy to implement,
highly scalable, fully distributed, message platform for implementing an
Information Exchange.
Although an Information Exchange (Inter-enterprise) and an EAI (Intra-
enterprise) application may seem similar, they are very different.
Requirements and therefore the resulting implementation for software are
different for broad areas such as security, privacy, audit, non-disputable
records, connectivity with no retooling, the inevitable change/versioning
issue, necessary customization by the individual organization, remote and
local administration, and remote and local monitoring are just some examples.
The list goes on.
FireStar are experts and leaders in this space. Beyond areas where FireStar
has filed patents for our unique technology and the successful
implementations of our EdgeNode technology, FireStar has also worked with
other industry leaders within the Object Management Group (OMG) to develop
open, industry standards required in an effective Information Exchange. An
example is the OMG’s Model Driven Message Interoperability Standard that is
an open, free standard for delivering Semantic Interoperability between
organizations.
EdgeNode is a fit-for-purpose product that addresses the unique requirements
of an Information Exchange while being easy to implement and scale.
